First Semester is Ending

First semester is ending. I am sad to see this bunch of students move on. I hope they continue to pursue art in the future. Check out some of their clay Tiki projects that are going home this week!!

What a week!

These first 2 weeks have flown by! Art students have been super productive in the art room. 2nd and 3rd period students are finishing up their color wheels. 1st, 5th, and 6th period students will begin painting their self-portrait mask on Tuesday.

What a wonderful start to the year!

This week was a wonderful start to the 2015-2016 school year! We are all settling in to the new year routine and making art! 1st, 5th, and 6th period  will be working on a two-dimensional self-portrait mask painted with watercolor and tempera paint. 2nd and 3rd period classes are painting colorwheels with tempera paint. ALL STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE THEIR REQUIRED ART SUPPLIES ON MONDAY, AUGUST 31.
